Big Cherry Lake Use Permits are on Sale Now!

If you are interested in fishing or using the lake area, please contact the water department at 276-523-0115. Fees are as follows:

  All Big Stone Gap water utility customers............$10.00

All others.................................................$15.00

Anglers Must  have current VA Fishing License.

 

 

The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Big Stone Gap Announces the Opening of the Terrace Park Cabin for rental.

The cabin is available for rent in 4-hour blocks. Kitchen and restroom facilities and a large room ideal  for   any social function.

Rates are as follows:

In Town: $60.00 for 4 Hours

Out of Town $80.00 for 4 Hours

The Town of Big Stone Gap has published a new online Building Permit Application Form.

Contractors, and property owners may now submit the information required for issuing permits directly to the permit clerk. We hope this aids everyone by decreasing the time involved in obtaining permits, and eliminating the need for faxing applications, or filling them out in person.

Another easy option for payment of water bills is the Auto Draft System. Each month, the Town of Big Stone Gap can automatically deduct your water bill payment from your bank account. It is a no hassle, easy to set up way of making sure you water bill is always paid, and it is great for avoiding needless trips to the Town Hall or the Post Office.
